Jan is head of the Research Centre Insurance at KU Leuven. Jan is particularly interested in modeling dependencies in insurance portfolios, and the integration of financial and actuarial models. Within the ASTeRISK team Jan’s focus goes to the research developed in the third pillar of the project, with focus on risk sharing rules in peer-to-peer insurance systems.
